Course Content

A quick-career course, designed for all beginners, who want to become a 3D CAD jewellery designer with Matrix9, but unable to spend more time.


In this course, an aspirant will introduced to basic Matrix and Rhino tools to begin building jewellery. Create basic graphic objects – lines, circles, arcs, curves, surfaces and solids. Creating Two-Dimensional (2D) designs.  Use of different commands to designing in easy way.  Creating 3D Jewellery components from 2D design.  Learn core tools such as Move, Scale and Rotate along with many fundamental Rhino tools essential to great designs. Explore many of the brilliant Matrix builders such as Bezel Builder, making of Custom Bezels for unique shaped gems, Head Builder, Channel Builder, Custom Rail Builder and Signet Ring Builder. Delve into History laden tools such as Profile Sweep, Curve from Two Views, Helix, Pipe, and Extrude Curve Straight. Making basic jewellery shapes and stone cluster. Types of Stone setting: Prong, Pave, Channel, Bezel & Grain setting.  Learn to apply them to jewellery by creating tops, pendants, simple band, an open band, custom shaped band, three stone ring and regular ring modelling. Understanding size specification for Jewellery Prototype models. Learn to use Gem tool, Methods for hollowing rings, building pendants, creating custom profile shapes. Rendering photo realistic images of your CAD designs using the Render Builder. Checking & correcting errors. Exporting in stereolitherography (.stl) file format for Prototyping. Doubt Solution
